East King Street Garage
Location:
150 East King Street
Lancaster, PA
Capacity:
466 Vehicles
Rates:
Monthly Rates are $65.00 per month.
Monthly Patrons: Monthly Patrons have access to the garage using a proximity card twenty-four hours per day, seven days per week. To apply, go to Monthly Patron Application.
Daily Rates: $2.00 for the first hour; $1.00 per hour (or any fraction thereof) for each additional hour up to a maximum of $14.00 per day.
Credit Card: This is an automated facility. The garage payments are made using a pay on foot machine at the garage lobby. You just insert your ticket, pay either by cash (notes) or Credit Card and take your receipt if you want one, and the ticket the machine will return to you. It is important to get this ticket before your receipt because the ticket is required to exit the garage. This ticket is inserted at the exit gate and it will raise the gate. Some other convenient payment options for credit card users are as follows: Patrons can use VISA, Master Card, American Express or Discover to enter & exit the garage at the entrance and exit gates. This eliminates your need to go to the pay on foot machine. If a patron expects to receive a validation coupon from a city business, they can pull out a ticket and still exit the garage without going to the pay on foot machine. They would just insert their ticket at the exit gate, follow with the validation coupon and then insert their credit card which will complete the transaction and raise the gate.
Clearance: The clearance at this garage is 8'2" at all entry and exits.
Hours of Operation:
This garage is completely automated, so it is open 24 hours per day, seven days per week. The elevator operates to 6:00 AM to 12:00 AM. After 12:00 AM daily, the elevator is shut down. This is done to prevent vandalism and for the safety of our customers. Generally, after 10:00 PM, the garage is fairly empty so parking is available on the lower levels without the need for an elevator.
