The monthly lease amount listed for each garage
may be prorated. You may contact the office at (717)
299-0907 for these specific amounts.
the monthly rate is reduced, the term of the lease
is for any Prorated Period plus One Calendar Month.
Either party shall have the privilege of canceling
this lease after this initial period. Cards held past
the first ten days will be charged the full monthly
amount. Any cancellation should be made known to the
Parking Authority by the end of the month and the proximity
card returned in workable order at the end of the month.
If this lease is not cancelled by either party, the
contract shall continue from month to month on the
LOST/DAMAGED CARDS: A lost
or damaged card will cost the lessee $12.00. If lost
cards are found and they are not useable, then they
are no good to us and the lessee will have to absorb
LATE FEE: A late
payment penalty equal to $25.00 for any amount not
paid by the 10 th day of the month in which it is
due will be assessed. After the 10 th of the Month
and no payment has been received, the access card will
ASSIGNMENT OR SUBLEASE: This
Lease may not be assigned or sublet.
USE: You must use, or permit use
of, the Leased Premises only for the parking of currently
licensed and registered vehicles. The Leased Premises
shall not be used, or permitted to be used, for any
other purpose or activity including, but not limited
to, sale, display or storage of merchandise of any
kind, storage of vehicles, or performing services (including
services to vehicles). Parking shall be subject to
Lancaster Parking Authority’s rules and regulations
for the Parking Facility, which are incorporated in
and made a part of this Lease by reference.
RISK OF LOSS: Lancaster Parking
Authority (LPA) assumes no responsibility for vehicles
or other property parked at or placed on the Parking
Facility or the Leased Premises. The Parking Authority
also assumes no responsibility for damages to cars
occasioned by theft or fire, or loss of articles left
in the car. All cars are parked at the lessee’s
risk, and the Authority accepts no responsibility.
