Monthly Patrons Applying for Monthly Parking: An application is available on this web site for your use in applying for a monthly card. Fill the form out completely and designate which garage you prefer. We do have waiting lists at some garages, so note an alternate if you so desire. We will contact you regarding availability. How Monthly System Works: If a space is available in the lot of your choice, a uniquely coded access card is issued, any prorated fees are charged as well as the next month's fee. Monthly payments are due the first of each subsequent month. A late fee is charged and your card de-programmed after the 10th of the month for non-payment. A lost card fee of $10.00 is charged for lost cards. It is refunded if the card is found and returned in reusable condition. Payments can be made at the Prince Street Office daily, you may also mail your payment to the above address or deposit your check in our drop box at the Prince Street Office. Please mail in sufficient time to arrive before the 10th of the month. You can inquire about these services by calling the Parking Authority Office at 299-0907. Validations: One hour and two hour validations are sold to businesses in the Downtown Investment District for distribution to their customers for shopping at their place of business. A limit of only two can be used when departing the garages. These items work at the Prince Street Garage, Duke Street Garage and the King Street Garages only. Value Cards: These are cards which patrons can buy specific amounts of prepaid parking. Typically businesses may purchase these cards for part-time employees. They are the same as cash therefore, if they are lost or stolen, you may lose the balance on the cards. If you are interested in this service, contact the office and we will review your situation to insure this is a good application for you. Visitor Cards: This is an application that we found to be beneficial for Financial Planners, Attorneys and other service groups that have individuals come to their office for meetings. This is also a prepaid parking service account maintained by the Parking Authority. This service should also be discussed with the Parking Authority Management to see that your business is a good fit. The above services are only functional when the garages are open. Penn Square is open until 12:00 AM (2:00 AM on Friday & Saturday), Prince is normally open until 10:00 PM (10:00 PM on Sunday & Monday) and Duke Street is open until 12:00 Midnight and later on weekends. Meter Hood Rental: Meter hoods are offered to contractors and business owners for work being conducted at their place of business and they wish to use the meter in front of the establishment to accommodate contractor vehicles. The Meter Bags rent for $6.25 per day. Call the office if you require additional detail. Residential Parking Permits: Residential Parking Permits are handled by the City of Lancaster Police Department. Call 291-4911 for application information or establishing a residential parking zone. ACH/Debitcard Payments: The Lancaster Parking Authority, with its Banking Services Group, will initiate an ACH/DEBIT CARD PROGRAM for our monthly patrons. This service, if you are not familiar with it, will deduct you monthly payment from your account automatically. We have had many inquiries regarding this service. We will be advising everyone when we are ready to implement it.
