March 27, 2024–More behind the scenes shots of the Lancaster Rainbow façade coming to life. The hundreds of cubical tubes were powder coated in Ephrata by Barker’s Coating Solutions. The façade colors focus on red tones, reminiscent of the ubiquitous red brick throughout Lancaster.  

March 13, 2024–Some behind the scenes shots of the façade installation coming to the Christian Street Garage! The 450+ aluminum tubes were fabricated in Elizabethtown by Quality Metal Works. Soon their craftsmanship will be on display in Ewell Plaza.                                                                                                        

March 1, 2024 Exciting news! The ‘New Lancaster Rainbow’ façade installation begins this week on the Christian Street Parking Garage. Made up of 450+ aluminum tubes, it’s set to bring a vibrant backdrop to the Ewell Plaza. Designed by R&R Studios and crafted locally, we are thrilled to see this final piece of the Parking Authority’s development in Ewell Plaza come to life for all to enjoy. The façade was fabricated in Elizabethtown by Quality Metal Works, powder coated in Ephrata by Barker’s Coating Solutions, and Benchmark Construction will manage the installation that will take approximately two months.
